Use the free placement test to get a first indication of your German or English level. Choose the language you want to test and answer the questions directly in your browser. From level A2, the test also includes short listening tasks.
What your result means
Your result helps you see which course level is likely to be the right starting point. It is a guide, not a final placement. If needed, we confirm your level before or at the start of your course.
How the test works
The test takes about ten minutes and no account is required. Your individual answers are not permanently stored on our server.
Once you have your result, you can use it to compare our German or English courses and decide what you would like to explore next.
