What are DAS Live Sessions?
DAS Live Sessions are free online sessions hosted by the DAS Akademie team. Each session combines a short presentation (about 15–20 minutes) on one clear topic with 15–20 minutes of open live Q&A, so you can ask the host your questions about the session’s topic, the course behind it and how it fits your personal situation.
Are DAS Live Sessions free?
Yes. Every DAS Live Session is completely free. There is no payment and no obligation to book a course afterwards.
Are the sessions online?
Yes. All sessions take place live on Zoom, so you can join from wherever you are. You do not need a Zoom account. A normal browser is enough.
Can I ask questions during a session?
Yes, that is the point. Every session reserves 15–20 minutes for open live Q&A with the host. Depending on the session, questions can be asked in English or German.
Who hosts the sessions?
Sessions are hosted by the DAS Akademie team. Depending on the topic, that can be an experienced teacher, a student advisor or someone from the course team. The host is named on each session.
How long does a session last?
Most sessions take around 35–40 minutes: roughly 15–20 minutes of introduction followed by 15–20 minutes for questions and answers.
How do I register?
Click “Save my seat” on the session you want to join and enter your first name and email address. That is all. No account, no password.
Do I need an account?
No. You register with just your first name and email address. We use your email only to send you the Zoom link and updates about that session.
How do I receive the Zoom link?
After you register, we send the Zoom link to your email address before the session starts.
What happens after a session?
Nothing automatic. There is no contract and no newsletter. If the topic made you curious, you can take our free placement test or look at the matching course. If you suggest a topic, we may build a future session around it.
